Z1 Expansion Sleeve

Eliminate the backlash and stress concentration of keyed connections with the Z1 Expansion Sleeve. By tightening the locking screws, the inner and outer tapered rings expand radially, generating high contact pressure.

This mechanical friction joint uses a double-taper design to create a powerful interference fit between the shaft and the hub such as a gear, pulley, or sprocket.

  • ZERO BACKLASH CONNECTION: Creates a solid, friction-based lock between the shaft and hub, eliminating the play and wear associated with traditional keyways.
