KC / GL Roller Chain Coupling – Heavy Duty 45 Steel Flexible Shaft Coupler with Aluminum Protective Cover
Power your heavy industrial equipment with the KC / GL Roller Chain Coupling. The rugged coupling consists of two hardened 45 Steel Sprockets connected by a heavy-duty Duplex Roller Chain. The inherent clearance between the chain and sprocket teeth provides excellent flexibility, allowing the coupling to accommodate angular, parallel, and axial misalignment while absorbing shock loads and vibration.
Included with the coupling is a Protective Aluminum Cover, which retains grease and protects the chain from dust, moisture, and debris, significantly extending the service life of the unit.
HIGH TORQUE CAPACITY: The robust steel sprocket and double-strand roller chain design distributes load across many teeth, allowing for efficient transmission of high torque even at low speeds.
PROTECTIVE ALUMINUM COVER: Comes with a split aluminum casing that holds grease for continuous lubrication and shields the moving parts from abrasive dust and safety hazards.
EASY INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE:
The split-chain design allows you to connect or disconnect shafts easily by removing a single master link pin, without disturbing the motor or pump alignment.
MISALIGNMENT COMPENSATION: Effectively handles shaft misalignment (Angular up to 1°, Parallel offset, and End float) thanks to the clearance between the chain rollers and sprocket teeth.
